Shopping Online - Stationery
Having been online for some time I'd realised that there were good bargains to be had on CDs, DVDs, Videos, Cameras and most consumer goods from places like Amazon and the major retailers online stores, however I'd never really given the internet much thought when buying things for use at work. After all I'd had a reliable stationery supplier for a number of years and their catalogue was just fine for pretty much all our work requirements.
It came as a great surprise when surfing one day, I came across a stationery website that had all the products that I had been buying from my regular supplier at significantly cheaper prices, some of them were 70% below the catalogue price offered by my usual supplier.
I checked out some of the products I had bought recently such as a Laminator, some Filing Cabinets and a Nobo Board and found that I could have saved nearly a thousand pounds.
So I looked at a couple of my latest requirements some flip chart easels for brainstorming and mind mapping exercises and a projector trolley and found that I could save another £200 buying online.
I've always been concerned about some online companies not giving support by telephone but Office 365 had a sales line and offered bulk buy discounts, so I thought I'd give them a call as I was buying 10 flip chart easels, the sales team were pleasantly mannered and offered me an extra 10% off the flip chart easels making the call well worth while.
I'm definitely going to look at buying more of my office products online and will be looking at other areas where I can save money by shopping online in future.
